Andrew W. Herrmann is Managing Partner of Hardesty & Hanover, LLP, a transportation consulting engineering firm headquartered in New York City. During his 30 plus year career he has been responsible for many of the firm’s major bridge projects. He is past president of NYC’s Metropolitan Section and past chair of the Structural Division’s Technical Administrative Committee on Bridges. He is co-chair of the 2005 SEI Structures Congress in NYC and served on the Advisory Council for ASCE’s 2001, 2003, and 2005 Report Cards for America’s Infrastructure. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University and a master’s in civil engineering from Polytechnic Institute.

Thomas A. Donnelly Jr. is Vice President of HDR|Daniel Frankfurt of New York City, where he is responsible for construction management and inspection services for buildings, highways, bridges and other major civil engineering projects.  Mr Donnelly has over 25 years of experience in the design and/or construction of over $1 billion of bridges, highways, buildings and local roads in the New York Metropolitan Area.  In addition, he has been involved with major civil works including Boston’s Central Artery/Tunnel project, the construction of Toll Roads (SP-270 & SP-280) in Sao Paulo, Brazil and the I-195/I-95 Interchange (I-Way) in Providence, Rhode Island.  Active in numerous Long Island technical and professional organizations, Tom is a past President of ASCE - Long Island Branch of the Metropolitan Section.  In addition, Tom is a member of the American Concrete Institute, American Society for Quality and Construction Management Association of America. He earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York.

Leonard Cilli, A.M.ASCE (2008-2010)

Leonard (Len) Cilli is President of the Cilli Environmental Group, LLC in Long Branch, New Jersey.  He stared his own firm after working for several civil and environmental firms for more than 25 years.  His career has spanned various roles in geotechnical and environmental engineering design and construction management.  Len became active in ASCE in the 1980's working his way up to Central Jersey Branch President and New Jersey Section President.  Len is a 1985 graduate of New Jersey Institute with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Paul D. Moyer, P.E., M.ASCE (2006-2008)

Paul D. Moyer, PE is a Vice President and Area Manager of the Boston Office of Carter & Burgess, Inc., an ENR top-50 Design Firm.  As such, he is responsible for the operation of the 75-person Architecture and Engineering operation and Principal-In-Charge of the office’s projects.  A BSCE graduate of University of Massachusetts and MSCE graduate of Northeastern University, Paul is a structural engineer by training and by practice.  He currently serves as ASCE’s New England District Director and is a member of the Policy Review and Audit Committees.  Locally, Paul is a Past President of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section and serves on the Board of Directors of The Engineering Center and the Board of Trustees of The Engineering Center Education Trust.  Paul is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Anthony M. Puntin, P.E., M.ASCE (2008-2010)

Anthony (Tony) Puntin, P.E. M.ASCE is the Director of Civil Engineering for the Manchester, New Hampshire office of the Louis Berger Group, Inc.  He is responsible for development and management of the Civil Group, which provides a variety of engineering services to municipalities and private clients throughout northern New England.  He joined Berger in 1998 and has more than 15 years of planning and design experience in many facets of civil engineering.  Tony has served in many leadership positions in the New Hampshire Section, including 2004-05 President.  Tony was 2002 Chair of the committee that produced the New Hampshire Infrastructure Report Card and contributed to the update of that document in 2006.  He is currently a member of the Infrastructure and Research Policy Committee, a corresponding member of the Committee on Governmental Affairs (CGA), and a member of the Committee on Geographical Units (CGU).  Tony is a 1992 graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in several states.

George V. Cotroneo, P.E., D.WRE, F.ASCE (2007-2009)

George Cotroneo is Chief of the Lower Great Lakes Hydraulics and Hydrology Branch at the Buffalo District Corps of Engineers.  He is responsible for the management of the Branch in support of the many civil works projects conducted throughout the District boundaries and is the US representative on various committees in support of the International Joint Commission on monitoring and regulating Lakes Erie and Ontario.  Prior to joining the Corps, he spent many years in the private sector, working mainly on hydroelectric design, ice engineering and other hydraulics and hydrology projects.  He has been an active member of ASCE for more than 30 years and has served in leadership positions with the Buffalo Section, including President in 2004 – 2005.  He currently serves as Continuing Education and Professional Affairs Committee Chair.  George received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Canisius College in 1970 and, after spending 3 years in the Service, his Masters in Civil Engineering in 1976 from the University of Buffalo.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State.

Mark P. Rusnica, M.ASCE (2007-2008)

Mark P. Rusnica is a Project Manager with the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York; a public benefit corporation which finances, designs and constructs health care and educational facilities in New York.  His 28 year career has spanned various roles in building design and construction; including campus master planning, hospital facilities design and construction management, code compliance review, quality assurance and GIS and management information systems development.  An active member of ASCE since his student membership days, Mark served on the board of the Mohawk-Hudson Section (Albany, NY) in various roles, including 2002-03 President, and has served on the Executive Committee of the Construction Institute Owners Directorate.  He is currenlty a member of the Life Member Forum Task Committee and a corresponding member of the Committee on Governmental Affairs (CGA).  Mark earned an asscoiates degree in construction technology from Hudson Valley Community College and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Union College.

William J. Cunningham, P.E., M.ASCE (2007-2009)

William (Billy) Cunningham is a Project Engineer with Siefert Associates in Naugatuck, Conneticut; specializing in construction engineering services for the highway/heavy construction field.  His tallents include temporary bridge/structure and rigging design, demolition and errection planning, and crane layout & safety.  Billy has served on the Board of the Connecticut Society of Civil Engineers Section in various roles, including 2004-05 President.  He has also lived in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area where he was very active in the National Capital Section.   There he was President of the Younger Member Forum, a member of the Construction Technical Committee and served on the 1996 National Convention Host Committee.  He is a graduate of Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Historian
Anni Autio, P.E., M.ASCE

Anni Autio is former ASCE Zone 1 Vice President, former District Director for the New England region and past        president of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section where she continues to serve as the Section’s Historian and Membership Chair.  Professionally, Ms. Autio is a senior project manager at CDM in Cambridge, MA where she specializes in regulatory compliance and remediation.  She currently manages a multi-million dollar analytical testing program that supports the Libby Asbestos Superfund project in Montana.  This work is being performed through an interagency contract between the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center and EPA Region 8. She also managed another multi-million dollar interagency agreement between the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the Massachusetts Highway Department to support three subway station modernization projects that were constructed during the Central Artery/Tunnel project (aka Big Dig) in Boston.  Ms. Autio is a licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in  Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
